Lena Marie (Jerger) Jarrett, 92, of Morgantown, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, WV. She was born May 12, 1917 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Moore) Jerger. She was retired from the Hawley Corporation, Wheeling, WV. Marie was a member of the First Baptist Church, Morgantown, WV, Past President of Business and Professional Women's Club, Wheeling, WV. She was also a former member of the First Baptist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Charles Lee Jerger, a sister Helen Ruth Hanovich, and a granddaughter Rebecca Rogers. Surviving are a daughter Barbara (James) Woodford of Morgantown, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday, June 29, 2009, from noon until time of services at 2:00 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH with Pastor Larry Lewis officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Martins Ferry Public Library, P.O.
