Leo J. Nagy, 87, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, March 21, 2016 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. He was born June 30, 1928 in Bridgeport, OH a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Zambori) Nagy. Leo was retired from Ohio Valley Medical Center and a member of St.Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Clouse) Nagy, a son Leo D. Nagy, brothers, James, Steve, Andy, Edward and Robert Nagy and sisters, Ann Prichett and Mary Jane Koch. Surviving are his daughter, Stacey A. (Rich) Freese of Wheeling, brother, Joseph Nagy of Roanoke, VA, and grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, Nicole and Bobby Clemens and Jason and Melanie Nagy and eleven great grandchildren. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 N. Fourth St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Military Honors will be presented by Belmont County Veterans Association.
