Leon Leonard Lieser, 76, of Martins Ferry, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, in East Ohio Regional Hospital.  He was born in Freeport, IL on September 19, 1946, a son of the late William and Cecilia (Engle) Lieser.  Leon was a member of The Experience Church, served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was retired from the Century Mining Company.

He his survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Hungerman) Lieser; son, Neil Lieser; three stepsons, Jason Elerick, Joseph (Robin) Elerick and Jacob Elerick and six grandchildren.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian Lieser; a brother, William Lieser; and a sister, Mary Ellen Lieser.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry is entrusted with the arrangements.
