Leroy L. Rawson, 63, of Bellaire, OH died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at Bellaire Community Hospital, Bellaire. He was born Dec. 29, 1950 in Salt Lake City, UT a son of the late Ellis L. Rawson, Sr. and Vera (Jones) Rawson. He was retired from the Village of Bridgeport Sanitation Department. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Ellis L. Rawson, Jr. Surviving are his wife, June E. (Coen) Rawson, children; Leslie (Stephanie) Rawson of Brandon, FL, Ellis (Holly) Rawson of Byesville, OH, Rebecca (Jeffery) Young of Martins Ferry and Jennifer (Jason) Beckett of Quaker City, OH, a sister, Wanda Overstreet of Idaho Falls, UT, five grandchildren and a great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday 6-9 pm and Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 from noon until time of services at 1:00 pm with Bertha Crane officiating.
