CLYDE, Lewis McCrea, 83, of Tiltonsville, Ohio, died Sunday March 21, 2010 at home. He was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio on October 21, 1926, a son of the late Thomas L. and Carrie Thompson Clyde. Lewis was a Methodist by faith, a member of the Tiltonsville American Legion and a U.S. Marine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Betsy Fetty Clyde in 2002; a daughter, Bonnie Midkiff, a son, Ronald Clyde, and a brother, Joseph Clyde. Lewis is survived by two sons: Lewis M. Clyde Jr. of New Bedford, Mass., and William Clyde of Dillonvale, Ohio; four daughters: Joyce Clyde of Rosedal, W.Va., Patricia Flesher of Mingo Junction, Ohio, Debra Caim of Tiltonsville, and Terri Wharton of Dillonvale; a sister, Esther Dalton of Martins Ferry; fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Wilson Funeral Home,102 Main Street, Tiltonsville, Ohio on Saturday March 27, 2010 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Holt, officiating.
