Lilian I. France, 86, of Bridgeport, OH passed away April 19, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born May 6, 1930, in Nottingham, England, a daughter of the late Henry and Henrietta (Lee) Arnold. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Presbyterian Church, the Carolyn Granger Society, and enjoyed her time at the Lansing Community Center and Chat and Chew at the Lansing United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander in 2003; sisters, Irene Tansley, Henrietta Jones, Hilda Mee, and Ann Ward; and brothers, Alan and Arthur Arnold; Lilian is survived by her son, Alan (Suzanne) France of Bridgeport; sister, Pamela Sansome of Nottingham, England; granddaughter, Christine (Christopher) Kukor of Canonsburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday, April 23, from 4-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am with Reverend John Jackson officiating. Interment at Linwood Cemetery in Blaine.
