Lillian C. (DiClemente) Chontos, 93, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born October 20, 1922 in Wheeling a daughter of the late Michele and Pretoria (Cerutti) DiClemente. She was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. "Ernie" Chontos and two brothers, Robert and George DiClemente. Surviving are her children, Dr. Todd E. (Amy) Chontos of Pickerington, OH and Jill Chontos of Parker, CO, sister, Joan (Frank) Joanou of Wheeling, WV, grandchildren, Katelyn (Matt) Smith of Blacklick, OH and Kyle Chontos of Pickerington, OH and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to a longtime friend, Sheila Powell. Friends will be received Friday 4 - 8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00 am with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the Donor's choice.
