FUTEY, LILLIAN C "LIL" 86, of Colerain, Ohio, died Friday April 11, 2014 at Valley Hospice South, Liza's Place, Wheeling WV.She was born April 2, 1928 in Wolfhurst, Ohio, a daughter of the late August and Pauline Mitan.Lil worked at Big Bear in Bridgeport until she retired after 31 years of loyal service. She always had that friendly smile and everyone loved to come and see her. Upon retiring she enjoyed traveling (with her husband Dick) to his Navy Reunions, working in her yard and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her life.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Mitan.Surviving in addition to her Husband, Dick of Colerain, Ohio the love of her life whom she married on July 31, 1948 are her two children, Craig (Connie) of Adena, Ohio and Doreen (Gary) Moscato of Adena, Ohio and a sister, Pauline Ennis of Florida.Also surviving are four grand-children, Tiffany Mahon, Tyler (Stevie-lyn) Moscato of Texas, Ryan (Melissa) Alexander of Columbus, Ohio and Nathan Alexander of Florida; six great-grandchildren, Brayden Mahon, Braxton Namack, Aubrey Moscato, Bailey Moscato, Avery Alexander and Ryder Alexander and nieces and nephews.Viewing will be private. Friends and family to be received at Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Cabrini Church, Colerain, Ohio with Fr. Dale Tornes officiating, Monday April 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Mausoleum at Holly Memorial Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
