Linda Lou Wilson, 78, of Bridgeport formerly of Martins Ferry, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born on November 15, 1942, in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen (Jones) Bernot.   She was a member of the Community Church of Christ, Wheeling Island and an avid Martins Ferry Purple Riders Football fan.

Linda is survived by her son, Michael Wilson and many loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale C. Wilson; a daughter, Heather Lynn Wilson and a sister, Judy Lynn Garvarkvich.

Friends may call Friday, from 11 am to 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Blair White officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
