Linda E. Charlton 72 of Bridgeport passed away Saturday March 5, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 16, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Marcel W. and Elfrieda (Moltzan) Etring.

She was a retired Caregiver, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Bridgeport. She was also very dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Alan Charlton in 2018, a sister Emilie Horsfield, and a son-in-law Dan Wetzel.

Linda is survived by her children Erma (Tim) Zann of St. Clairsville, Marcey Wetzel of Mechanicsburg, OH, Matt (Kelli) Charlton of Bridgeport, and Michelle (Rick) Hill of Titusville, Fl, sisters Carol (Morris) McIntyre of Kerrville, TX, and Carleen Tortorella of Westland, MI, 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to a memorial visitation at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 56381 National Road Bridgeport, on Tuesday March 8, 2022, from 12 noon till time of service at 2pm, with Rev. Nancy DeStefano officiating. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
