Linda D. Sexton, 64, of Youngstown, Ohio died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at her home. She was born September 19, 1948 in Barnesville, Ohio daughter of John Anderson and Leona Kemp Thompson. Linda was the first woman to work the oil and gas wells in eastern Ohio. Sh was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and a devoted friend. Linda will be sadly missed by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Edward Anderson. Linda is survived by her parents, John H. (Jean) Anderson of Barnesville and Leona L. Kemp Thompson and her companion, Andy Messenger of Barnesville; daughter, Angie (Steve) Paynter of Austintown; son, Douglas (Claudia) Mehler of Germany; sisters, Judy (Gary) Lucas, Donna (John) Duch all of Barnesville, and Mary Anne (Allen) Withrow of Bethesda; brother, John "Mike" (Melinda) Anderson of Barnesville; and grandchildren, Amanda Lynn,Nicholas, and Zachery Paynter and Corey Mehler. Family and friends may visit, Wednesday 1 to 4 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
