Obituary

Lionel W. "Rob" Robinson, 70, of Bridgeport, OH, died Monday, January 15, 2018 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born March 16, 1947 in Martins Ferry a son of Mary (Martin) Robinson and the late Lionel B. Robinson.
He was retired from Ohio University Eastern of St. Clairsville, OH.
Rob was a member and former deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Vietnam War.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Bridgeport are his sister Linda (Terry) Mayberry of Colerain, OH and nephews and nieces; Terry (Alisa) Mayberry of Ostrander, OH, Tammy (Ryan) Zimmer of Waynesville, OH and Joe Mayberry of Hilliard, OH.
Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. David Stammerjohn officiating.
