LOIS JEAN BARRITT, 84, formerly of Martins Ferry, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio. She was born May 1, 1923 in Martins Ferry, daughter of the late William and Irene Burd Perry. Lois Jean moved to Gahanna, Ohio 16 years ago where she was a member of the Mifflin Presbyterian Church and was lovingly known by her church family as Mrs. "B". She was also active in the Gahanna Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jackson Barritt in 1968; a brother William "Dutch" Perry, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law Judy Coss Barritt. Lois Jean is survived by a son Daniel Barritt and his wife Dr. Andrea Barritt of St. Clairsville; two daughters Kathy Marty and her husband Dr. Charles Marty of Granville, Ohio and Jackie Komjati and her husband Gregg of Gahanna, Ohio; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Lois Jean will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Visitation will be Friday 6 - 9 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, and again on Saturday from 12 pm until the time of the funeral services at 1:30 pm with Reverend Peter Dembroski officiating.
