Lola P. (McCue) Toland, 91, of Main St., Rayland, OH died Wed., Feb. 7, 2007 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Lisbon, OH. She was born Jun., 15, 1915 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Theaker and Blanche (Myers) McCue. She was a retired substitute school teacher for Buckeye Local School District. Lola was a member of the Rayland Presbyterian Church, Ordained Elder, President of Pollyanna Sunday School Class, Opals of East Ohio Regional Hospital, Lifetime member of Jefferson County Retired Teachers Association, Ohio Retired Teacher Association, and a life member of the Parent Teacher Association. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Toland in 1987, and two brothers Henry and Harry A. McCue. Surviving are two sons Daniel L. (Anna Belle) Toland of Columbus, OH, and Theaker T. (Ruth Ann) Toland of Spring Hill, FL, a daughter Barbara (Robert) Beveridge of Salinville, OH, six grandchildren Randy Toland, Dale Beveridge, Lisa Mitchell, Mike Beveridge, Susan Almy, Thomas Toland, and ten great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sun., 4-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., Feb. 12, 2007 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Ted Ludwig officiating.
