Lorraine A. Franco, 90 of Bridgeport, died Friday April 18, 2008 at Heartland Lansing of Bridgeport. She was born January 3, 1918 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Anthony and Augusta DeNardi Franco. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Asher and Nerone Franco; a sister, Norma Rizzi. Lorraine is survived by two brothers, Dewey Franco and his wife Karen of Ocala, Florida and Anthony Franco of Lake Orion, Michigan; a nephew, Arthur Rizzi Jr. his wife Marie and daughter Jessica of Huntington, N.Y. and many other nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Women's, the Order of Sisters of Charity and retired from the Post Office and Social Security Administration. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road, Brookside where Vigil services will be held at 2:30 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Father John Mucha as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
