Together Again Louis E. Dietrich 77, of Bridgeport died Saturday September 17, 2011 at his home. He was born July 1, 1934 in Wheeling, a son of the late Charles F. and Genevieve Schmalstieg Dietrich. He was Owner of Ohio Valley Battery and Ignition in Bellaire, a member of the Lincoln Ave. Methodist Church in Shadyside, a member of the Bridgeport Eagles #995, a veteran of the Korean War in the US Marines, and a member of the American Legion. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Darnley Dietrich, and a brother Charles Dietrich. Louis is survived by a son Ronald J. Montgomery and his companion Caroline Davey of Bridgeport, a brother Edward H. Dietrich of Yorkville, two granddaughters Rhonda Coleman of Wheeling, and Stephanie Montgomery of Columbus, three great grandchildren Terrell Waitts, Nathan Coleman, and Chandrea Montgomery. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday September 23, 2011 from 10 till time of service at 1 pm., with Rev. Randy Weaver officiating, interment in Greenwood Cemetery Wheeling. Full Military services will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 12: 45 pm on Friday.
