Louis Alexander Dvoracek, 67, of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Wheeling on August 24, 1954, a son of the late Louis and Sonja (Dorada) Dvoracek.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, retired from the Wheeling Police Department after 26 years of service, also served the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner for 14 years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Lou is survived by his wife of over 26 years, Kelly (Custer) Dvoracek; 4 children, Amanda (Joseph) Follayttar, Dr. Lucas (Dr. Amelia Lucisano) Dvoracek, Nicole Rose and Amanda (Colin) Pearcy; a brother, James (Tina) Dvoracek; 4 grandchildren, Connor and Brady Follayttar and Noah and Kingston Pearcy and a nephew Collin Dvoracek.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
