LOUISE TRUSKOWSKI BRIGGS, 83, of Rayland, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born January 17, 1925 in Bellaire, the daughter of the late John and Mary Truskowski. Louise was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiltonsville and the American Legion Post 153 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Briggs; one brother John Truskowski, five sisters Helen Baran, Dorothy Fabey, Stella Palcic, Lucille Twardoski and Sophie Kocurek; and a nephew John Briggs. Louise is survived by a sister Wanda Briggs of Rayland; a step son Richard Ronovich of Mt. Pleasant and three generations of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 102 Main St., Tiltonsville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am with Monsignor George Coyne officiating. Interment will follow at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville.
