Lucille Palmere Anthony 100 of St. Clairsville passed away peacefully on Saturday June 27, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 20, 1925, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Andrew R. LaMotte Sr. and Elizabeth (Pittner) LaMotte.

Lucille was a Bridgeport High Scool graduate and a member of the Kirkwood Methodist Church Bridgeport, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Lucille was a telephone operator for Ohio Bell in Bridgeport.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Wayne Anthony, she was the last of her siblings including Grace Lillian Holler, Mildred E. “Kibby” Arens, Elsie Mae LaMotte, and Andrew R. “Chick” LaMotte Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Holly Memorial Gardens US Rt. 250 Pleasant Grove on Thursday July 2, 2026, from 10 am till time of the service at 11am, with Chaplin Dean Anderson officiating entombment to follow the service. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside in charge of the service.
