Lucille L. (Tunt) Defibaugh Morgan, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH, died, Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 at Forest Hills Retirement Community, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born November 8, 1921 in Bridgeport, OH a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Grace (Turley) Tunt. Lucille was a retired executive secretary for the executive director of Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was a member of the Lancaster Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband John T. Defibaugh and her second husband Walter T. Morgan, two brothers Charles and Myron Tunt, and a sister Leah Schnell. Surviving are her daughter Joyce (Paul) Bell of St. Clairsville, OH, a son John T. Defibaugh, Jr. of Sunset Heights, two sisters Adelaide Maguire and Grace Bauers both of Sunset Heights, three grandchildren Tisha L.(Steven) VanHorn, Shane L. (Samantha) Bell, and Erika B. Defibaugh and two great grandchildren Tyler W. and Noah S. Bell. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. James Hildebrand officiating. Burial follows in Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
