Lyvonne G. Funkhouser, 76, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at Ohio Valley Medical. She was born April 16, 1938 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Bernard and Lula Pugh.
A loving, caring person and devoted to her faith, she was a Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church Barnesville. She enjoyed crafting, a way to give joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin infant sons and sisters, Geraldine Roode and Lucille Barbe.
Lyvonne is survived by her daughter, Penny (Daniel) Schmitt of Bethesda, Ohio; son, Thomas Funkhouser of Bethesda, Ohio; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons; sisters, Agnes Bleigh, Frances Quinn, Barbara Quinn, Sharon Pugh, Delores Jordon, Patricia Barbe; and brother, Wallace Pugh.
Family and friends will be welcome to visit, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio, where the service will be conducted, Wednesday 11 a.m. Pastor Rodney West officiating. Interment will follow at Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.
