Mabel Jean Griffith of Adena, OH passed peacefully with her son by her side Sunday, March 5, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH. Mabel was born April 22, 1927, adopted daughter of the late Herman and Mary Dorsey. Mabel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant where in past years she served as junior choir director and church soloist. Preceding her in death are her husband of 56 years, Ralph H. Griffith, and their son Thomas D. Griffith. She is survived by a son, Charles (Tracy) Griffith and three special grandsons; Donnie (Wyndee) Boroski, CJ (Kacie Boyd) Griffith and Cody Griffith; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 10a.m. until time of service at noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 2nd St. Dillonvale, OH with Wilfred Simeral officiating.
