Madgel Gray, 95, of Quaker City, Ohio, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab. Born February 18, 1921 in Salesville Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Otis Householder ad Cloe Yaw Householder. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Madgel enjoyed sewing quilts by hand, providing warmth and comfort. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Gray; granddaughter, Michele Gray; grandson, Michael Gray; daughters-in-law, Phyllis Gray and Shirley Gray; sister, Edith Murphy; and brother, Yual Householder. Madgel is survived by her daughter, Betty Murphy of Bolivar, Ohio; sons, James Gray of Quaker City, Ohio, Roy Gray of Florida, Gary (Marlene) Gray of East Sparta, Ohio, Terry (Nona) Gray of Barnesville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Eugene "Doc" Householder of Barnesville, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to visit, Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
