ROSSINI, Madio, 95, of Dillonvale, Ohio, has gone to be with his God and Lord Jesus Christ on Friday July 18, 2008. He died at home. He was born July 5, 1913 in Italy, the son of the late Louis and Rosa Rossini. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Victoria Biscaro Rossini and a brother Robert Rossini. Madio has worked for 46 years with Consol and 40 years as president of local unions and over 42 years as Local Mine Committee of the United Mine Workers; he also served as a Trustee of Mount Pleasant Township from 1942-1954 and a Christian by faith. Madio is survived by two sons: Madio M. ""Rocky"" Jr. and his wife Patty of Vermillion, Ohio and Elmer L. ""Toodles"" and his wife Mary Ann of Chicago, IL., two daughters: Eileen Hawkins and her husband Tom of Dillonvale and Marlene Loring and her husband Bill of Wheeling, W.Va.; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio where services will be held Monday July 21, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. with granddaughter, Leslie O'Dell officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 380 Summit Avenue, Steubenville, Ohio 43952.
