Obituary

Madolyn Nora (Parker) Tunt, 82, of Magnolia Dr., Washington, PA, formerly of Sunset Heights, Bridgeport, OH died in Washington Hospital, Washington, PA July 12, 2005 after a long illness. She was born August 22, 1922 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Fred and Nora (Kalbitzer) Parker. Madolyn was a kind and compassionate woman. She loved God, family, friends and animals. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She enjoyed collecting, painting and inspired many through her beautiful poetry. She was a member of The Bellaire Christian Church, Bellaire, OH and attended South Hills Bible Chapel in McMurray, PA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-two years Charles Ellsworth Tunt in 2001, her brother Encil Parker, two sisters Dorothy Hawes and Betty Glenn. Surviving are three daughters Sandra Chiapparelli of Greenburg, PA, Charlene Pritt of Washington, PA, and Tria Dickerson of Washington, PA, three grandchildren Dr. Kellie Baxter of Atlanta, GA, Donny Pritt of Houston, TX and Shannon Dickerson of Pittsburgh, PA, three sisters-in-law that she dearly loved, Adelaide Tunt Maguire, Bridgeport, OH, Lucille Tunt Morgan, and Grace Tunt Bauers both of Martins Ferry, OH, and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to friend and caregiver Mary Janflone. Friends will be received Fri. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, where services will be held Sat., July 16, 2005 at 1:00 PM with Pastor James Hildebrand officiating. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
