Madonna Singer Niemiec Wieman, 78, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at her home. She was born June 20, 1933 in Pinckneyville, Illinois, daughter of the late Howard A. Singer and Hulda M. Schroeder Singer.
Madonna was the co-founder of Trinity Gospel Fellowship, a 1951 graduate of Flushing High School, and a 1952 graduate of Elliott Business College in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was a business owner, operator, and entrepreneur.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Niemiec; her second husband, Fred Wieman; and niece, Debbie Fisher.
Madonna is survived by her sisters, Shirley Smith of Flushing, Ohio and Dianna Cameron of Powell, Ohio; nephews, Dan (Patty) Smith of Flushing, Ohio, Larry (Betsy) Smith of Pickerington, Ohio, Gary (Missy) Smith of Flushing, Ohio, and Todd Cameron of Powell, Ohio; niece, Cari (Doug) Ruble of Visalia, California; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit Tuesday 4 to 9 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio and Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service 11a.m. at Trinity Gospel Fellowship, Flushing, Ohio. Pastor Gary Smith and Reverend Dean Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
