Magnolia (Glass) Eason Howard, 86, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 at Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, OH. She was born June 26, 1923 in Chattanooga, TN a daughter of the late Andrew and Ophelia (Martin) Glass. She was retired from the Murphy Woolworth and a member of the Refuge Temple both of Bellaire, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Gaston Eason, her second husband Samuel Howard, and a brother Alborn Glass. Surviving are two daughters Bernadine White of Steubenville, OH and Gloria Butts of Atlanta, GA, a son John Young of Atlanta, a sister Bertha Tolliver of Chattanoog and fifteen grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
