Malachi West, 39, of Weirton, WV passed away on June 19, 2023, at Weirton Medical Center. Malachi was a graduate of the 2001 class of Bellaire High School. During his high school years, he also attended the Disney College Program. He attended Ohio University Eastern, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the Art Institute of Atlanta. Malachi had a natural artistic talent and used that ability to follow a career path that he loved. He enjoyed creating various forms of artwork, traveling, and spending time with loved ones, including his dog, Ruby. He is survived by his wife Courtney, his parents Robert West and Janet Shuman, his siblings: Courtney (Ashley)Gummer, Jade (Nina) Gummer, Bobby (Heather) West, and Toya (Stacey)West. His uncles and aunts include: Kevin (Lisa) West, Dorcella "Sissie West" Washington, Suggnetta (James) Crawford, Kenny Shuman, and Carrie Champbliss. His nieces and nephews include: Malik, Jazzlyn, Aubrianna, Tre, Jalen, Trenton, Rihana, Trinity, Dakota, and Haley. His cousins are Andre Crawford and Tiffany Crawford. Malachi was preceded in death by his grandfather Virgil West, his grandmother Berdie West, and his Grandmother Minnie Shuman.

According to Malachi's wishes private service and internment will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road, Brookside is assisting the family.
