Marcia K. (Gillespie) Perry, 72, of Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, December 18, 2015 at Liza's Place, Valley Hospice South, Wheeling, WV. She was born October 3, 1943 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Charles F. Gillespie and Catherine (Hall) Gillespie Kovalchie. Marcia retired as a bartender and worked many years for the Ohio River Valley Elks #231 and was Past President of Lady Elks. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Martins Ferry, In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith D. Perry and her son, Bryan K. Perry. Surviving are her sister, Jeanne (Bill) Barrett of New Cumberland, WV and her sister-in-law, Darlene (John) Hercules of Bridgeport, OH, granddaughters; Amanda (Gary) Phillips of Wheeling and Jessica (Neal) Stillion of Cambridge, OH, great grandchildren; Connor, Colin, and Colton, several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Reesey. Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Monday 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Elks services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
