Marcie Jo Worrell, 54 of Mt. Pleasant beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandma went to be with her Lord and Savior after a 6-year battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born November 25, 1967, the daughter of the late James R. Sr and Patricia J. (Porter) Worrell.

Marcie was an RN for 29 years working at Trinity Health System in Steubenville.  She was a member of the Dillonvale Eagles Post #1572, Dillonvale Firemen Auxiliary, the Adena American Legion Post # 525, and a member of the Italian Club of Martins Ferry.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children; Derek (Megan Nestor) Dvorcek and Danielle Dvorcek, grandchildren; Hensley and Daxton Dvorcek, siblings; James R. Worrell, Jr.  (Sonya), Terri Gotschall and Jason Worrell along with several nieces and nephews, her special partner of 9 years, Ernie Ward, and her fur baby; King.

Marcie was her happiest when spending time with her family, friends, traveling, dancing, going on vacations and doing a little gambling.

Family and friends will be received Friday, November 25, 2022, from 4-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, OH and Funeral Service on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. James Monogioudis officiating. The Family wishes to invite you to join them for a luncheon afterwards at the Dillonvale Fire Department, 153 Main St., Dillonvale.
