Margaret "Peggy" Ann Tracey, 98, of Martins Ferry, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born on March 26, 1926, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Sacher) Singer. Peggy was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church Martins Ferry and retired from the First National Bank, Bridgeport.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Walker, and Mary Agnes Foster; two grandsons, Chris, and Joey Foster; nine great grandchildren, Kiara Haskell, Liam Foster, Tali Schroeder, Keilee Foster, Jamison Foster, Noah Schroeder, Rylan Foster, Kita Schroeder, Arthur Foster; and a great granddaughter, Rose Haskell.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur T. Tracey in 2001; a son, Thomas Tracey; a grandson, Kevin Walker; a sister, Mary Lou Emblem; and two brothers, William, and Paul Singer.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:30 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home with Father Thomas Marut officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
