Margaret L. Cole, 77, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away February 9, 2021 at Forrest Hills Care Center in St. Clairsville, OH.

She was born August 11, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late Ralph and Genevieve (Wolanin) Burch.

She was a caretaker and a Catholic by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert and John Burch, Mary Milbert, Barbara Vennon, Helen Cecil, and an infant brother, Charles William Burch.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Cole; daughter, Margaret (Charles) Sponhaltz of Martins Ferry; grandsons, Charles Sponhaltz III, and James (Victoria) Sponhaltz all of Martins Ferry; and brother, Joseph Burch also of Martins Ferry; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, February 12, 2021 at Wilson Funeral Home-Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935 from 2p.m. until 4p.m. and from 6p.m. until 8p.m. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
