Margaret A. (Cominelli) Orend, 95, formerly of N. 8th St, Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Jan. 13, 2007 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Jan. 14, 1911 in Warnock, OH a daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Mangot) Cominelli. Margaret was a former waitress for Three Gaynors Restaurant of Bridgeport and a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry and Dames of Malta. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John A. Orend, Jr., a son, George Orend, a brother Hubert Cominelli, and two sisters Adeline Morova and Margaret Spinney. Surviving are three sons John E. (Martha) Orend of Colerain, OH, Earl (Carol) Orend of Lansing, OH, and Fred (Sally) Orend of Bridgeport, OH, a daughter Jo Ann Chlon of Wheeling, WV, a brother Frank Faccini of Niagra Falls, NY, a sister Frances Prokopovich of Euclid, OH, and 9 grandchildren Wally Chlon, Trevor Orend, Michael Orend, Earl John Orend and Fred Orend, Marie Woodford, Kathy Dillon, Eric Orend and Lisa Orend, and 9 great grandchildren. Friends will be received Mon. 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH were services will be held Tue., Jan. 16, 2007, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Philip VanDam officiating.
