Margaret Louise (Smith) Glavaris.She was born in Coverdale, PA.on October 31, 1927. She passed away on August 14, 2014 at the age of 86. Her parents were Thomas E. Smith and Mabel V. Helt (Smith) both deceased. Wife of 35 years to Mike N. Glavaris, Sr. who passed away in 1986. She was the mother of Mike N. Glavaris, Jr. (Judy) of Arlington, SD, and Karen R. Marino (Joe) living in North Olmsted, OH. Her grandchildren are Karah Glavaris (Yuba City, CA) and Christy Sherman-Zographos (Nicholas) of Avon Lake, OH. Great Yia Yia to Silas, Greyson and Calvin Sherman. Eldest sister of Thomas (deceased), Paul, Phyllis, Donna, Betty Jo (deceased) and Arthur (deceased). A resident of St. Clairsville, OH since 1961. Avid gardener, loved crewel embroidery, knitting and playing solitare Scrabble. A member of the Greek Orthodox Church and choir in Martins Ferry. She was retired from the St. Clairsville Public Library. A memorial service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church in Martins Ferry, OH at the conclusion of the 10:30 a.m. service on September 28, 2014. A coffee hour follows the service.
