Margaret Elizabeth (Hoge) Albrecht, 88, formerly of N. 8th St., Martins Ferry, OH went home to be with her Lord, Mon., Feb. 7, 2005. She was born Feb. 9, 1916 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Mary (Mills) Hoge Cooper and Bertram Hoge. She was a devoted and loving member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry. Margaret was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and enjoyed music of all types. She traveled extensively with her husband while camping across the United States and Canada. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. Albrecht, Sr., a son Carl W. Albrecht, Jr., a brother John Hoge, and a sister Dorothy Cook. Surviving are a daughter Carol (Gomer) Davies of Crescent, OH, four sisters Evelyn Harmon of Beverly, OH, Ruth Markus of Pleasant Grove, OH, and Marian (George) Koller and Doris (Ed) Watkins all of Martins Ferry, eleven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thurs., 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral services will be held Fri., Feb. 11, 2005 at 1:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Martins Ferry. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
