Margaret Virginia Link, 96, life long resident of Brookside, Ohio died Tuesday February 8, 2011 at Wheeling Medical Park.She was born October 15, 1914 in Wheeling, W.Va., daughter of Gerald and Mary O'Malley Weekley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Link JR. and her son Fred A. Link 111, and her sister Dorthy Lloyd. Surviving are her sons, Don (Donna) of Dayton, Ohio, G. Michael (Toni) Of Galena, Ohio, David (Cindi) of Sunbury Ohio, Rick (Linda) of Bridgeport Ohio, Mark (Laura) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and a Sister Geraldine of Colerain, Ohio and a brother and Sister in law Chuck (Pat) Link of Bridgeport, She is also survived by 11 Grand Children, and 9 Great Grandchildren. Margaret was an owner and operator of her own Beauty Shop in Bridgeport for several years. She left this position to start a family and cared for her Six beloved sons whom were her pride and joy. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and also the Catholic Daughters Association and was a dedicated volunteer at the St. Anthony's Food Pantry. Her favorite activity was Ball Room Dancing with her late husband Fred. Margaret was an accomplished artist, whose paintings were displayed in various art shows throughout the valley. Friends will be received Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, with vigil service at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday February 11, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with Reverend John Mucha, as celebrant.
