Margaret Monahan Margaret Mackulics Monahan, 84, of Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH, died Sun., May 11, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Mar. 24, 1919 in Piney Fork, OH a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Bazan Mackulics. She was retired from the former Stone & Thomas Department Store, Wheeling, WV, a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, and a volunteer at East Ohio Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Michael P. Mackulics. Surviving are her husband of 57 years Homer D. Monahan, two sons Richard (Carol) Monahan of Alexandria, VA and Michael (Christine) Monahan of Worthington, a daughter Maribeth (John) Snyder of Florence, KY, a sister Ann (Phillip) Rickettes of Bowling Green, OH, and six grandchildren Stephanie and Andrew Snyder, Dr. Lauren Monahan Post, and Colin, Christopher, and Megan Monahan. Friends will be received Tues., 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut At Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., May 14, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Thomas Magary officiating. Interment follows at the convenience of the family. Rosary devotions will be recited Tues., at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
