Margaret C. Owens, 82, passed away January 11, 2017 at Adena Health Care. She was born April 21, 1934, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Long) Koch Sr. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1952, and sold Avon for many years. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she was in the choir and taught Sunday School. She was former president and board member of the UMW. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother George Koch Jr., and an infant daughter, Margaret. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Owens; sons, Greg (Linda) Owens and Mickey Owens both of Adena, OH; grandchildren, Chris (Jordan), Ashley (FiancAC. Derrick), and Andrew; great-grandson, Ethan; and sister, Beth Ann Goins of VA. Friends will be received Friday, January 13, from 4-8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Friends will also be received Saturday from 10a.m. until time of service at 11a.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Reverend Barry Hall officiating.
