Margaret Ella Marie Kolb, 97, of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday February 21, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 11, 1926, in Chewelah, Washington, the daughter of the late Charles and Ellanora J. (Schmeller) Riddle.

She was a retired from Oakview Nursing Home, and was the activities director for Oakview Nursing Home, she was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church in Brookside, a member of the Bridgeport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Bridgeport Women's Club, and the Belmont County Nurses Association. Margaret loved the Pitsburgh Pirates and collecting Clowns, she also loved children, and her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Kolb, a son Richard Kolb, and a daughter Kathy Garber, and a granddaughter Michele Butler.

Margaret is survived by her children John (Janice) Kolb of California, Mike (Melissa) Kolb of Arizona, David (Yvonne) Kolb of Akron, Chuck (Janis) Kolb of Bridgeport, Dan (Donna) Kolb of Moundsville, and Margee (Jeff) Kreiter of Bridgeport, also a daughter-in-law Darla Kolb, and half-sisters Vaundalea Froelich and JoAnn Allison both of Washington, 25 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Wednesday March 1, 2023, from 9 till time of service at 1 pm with Pastor Nancy DeStefano officiating, internment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. The family would like to thank all of mom's caregivers for all the special care they gave our mother.
