Margaret V. "Peg" (Myers) Shackelford, 82, of Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Jan. 26, 2004 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Dec. 19, 1921 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Henry and Ina (McCue) Myers. Peg was a long time hostess for the former Three Gaynors Restaurant of Bridgeport, OH, and a sales representative for Avon Cosmetics. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Lee Shackelford, two brothers William and Frederick Myers and a sister Lucille Myers. Surviving are a sister Ruth Wickline of Columbus, OH, a sister-in-law Aletha Myers of Cadiz, and several nieces and nephews including Mary Lou Hoyer of Westerville, OH, Judy Bowman of Woodbridge, VA, and Larry Wickline of Sunbury,OH. Friends will be received Tue. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., Jan. 28, 2004 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Joseph Sanders officiating. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
