Margaret Zelenitz, 93, of St. Clairsville, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, in Wheeling Hospital.  She was born on December 27, 1927, in Lafferty a daughter of the late Jack and Angelina (Delorenzo) Durante.  Margaret was Catholic by faith; a former co-owner of the Blaine Restaurant, worked at the Phillip Stamping Company for many years and enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening up until the age of 91.

She is survived by 2 sons, Greg Zelenitz and Randy (Karen) Zelenitz; a brother, Vito Durante; a sister, Ann Durante; a grandson whom she loved greatly, Kyle Zelenitz; many nieces and nephews and her beloved friend and pet, Penny.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Zelenitz; 3 brothers, Tony, Mike and Dominick Zelenitz and a sister, Antoinette Ilovar.

Friends may call Thursday, from 11am to 12 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm in Union Cemetery, 211 Maple Ave, St. Clairsville, with Father John Mucha officiating. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Good Shepard Nursing Home for all there loving care and support.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pittsburgh Children's Hospital Foundation, 105 40th St., Pittsburgh, PA  15201, in her memory.
