Maria Ioannidis Harris Paradisis, 87, of DeHass St., Martins Ferry, OH died Fri., June 27, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born in Greece a daughter of the late Manuel and Irene Ioannidis. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life Giving Fountain, Martins Ferry. She was preceded in death by her first husband John Harris, her second husband Nicholas W. "Nick" Paradisis, a son Manuel J. Harris, and two brothers. Surviving are a son Gus Harris of Martins Ferry, a daughter Irene (Brad) Crow of Dania Beach, FL, a brother and sister, and three grandchildren John Harris, and Chelsea Maria and Jessica Lauren Crow. Friends will be received Tues. 5-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral services will be held Wed., Jul. 2, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life Giving Fountain with Rev. Menelaos Papageorgiou officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Trisagion services will be held Tue. at 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
