Marian Elizabeth Roberts, 79, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Lansing, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, in Forest Hills Care Center. She was born on January 10, 1943, the only child of the late Herbert and Anna (Donley) Mentz. Marian was a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing games.

She is survived by her children, Becky (Charles) Atkinson Espenschied, Wendy (Rob) Atkinson and Shannon Newman; grandchildren Bethany (Brian) Farmer, Amber (Jake) Evans, Bobby (Jess) Mitchem, Kayla (Kevin) Soltez, Madison Pollock; and 9 grandchildren.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, John Atkinson; 2nd husband, Robert "Tiny" Newman, 3rd husband, Gordon Roberts and a daughter, Lisa Atkinson.

Friends may call Thursday, from 1-4 pm in Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 pm in the funeral home with Reverend John Jackson officiating.
