MARIAN ETHEL (HETRICK) SCALISE Marian Scalise, 90, of Morristown, formerly of Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, died October 14, 2013 at Cumberland Pointe Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 11, 1923 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John J. and Ethel Adams Hetrick. Marian loved music, birds, and spending time with her family. She was a Presbyterian by faith and a member of First Presbyterian Church of St. Clairsville. She was a founding member of the Golden Triangle Chapter of the Sweet Adeline's quartet organization in Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John J. Hetrick, Jr. Marian is survived by her two daughters Deborah Scalise of Pittsburgh and Cheryl (Doug) Harris of Morristown; two grandchildren, Colin (Erin) Harris of Canton and Kelsey of Morristown; sister, Joan H. (John) Smith of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; nephew, J. Jay Smith and partner, Mark L. Williams of Trenton, New Jersey; and sister-in-law, Joan Rich of Pittsburgh. Family and friends will be received, Thursday from 3 pm until the time of service, beginning at 7 pm, at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio. Thomas C. McCort will be officiating. Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. In lie of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice (Liza's Place), 308 Mt. Saint Joseph Road, Wheeling, West Virginia.
