Marjorie (James) Davison, 98, of Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Mar. 11, 1916 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late David H. and Kate (Jones) James. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and Gamma Chapter of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority. Marjorie was involved for many years with East Ohio Regional Hospital's Auxiliary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Davison and a son James D. Davison. Surviving are her children; Bonnie Cook and Kathryn (Howell) Edwards both of Martins Ferry and Kenneth (Linda) Davison of St. Clairsville, OH, grandchildren; Jeffrey Edwards of Massillon, OH, Douglas (Leigh) Edwards of Worthington, OH, Greg(Caitlin) Davison of Lakewood, CO, and Kate Davison of St. Clairsville, OH, and two great grandchildren; Alivia Fodor-Edwards and Nathan Edwards. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 from 10 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Rev. David Stammerjohn officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 400 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH.
