Marjorie M. Elliott, 91, of Flushing, Ohio died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born March 13, 1921 in Canton, Ohio, daughter of the late Karl Swallen and Naomi Darr Swallen. She was a branch manager at Buckeye Savings and Loan. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marjorie enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers and reading. She was a friend to all that knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver "Forest" Elliott; brothers, Don and Bob Swallen; and sister, Jane. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Douglas (Susan) Elliott of Traverse City, Michigan, William K. Elliott of Flushing, Ohio, Larry (Cheryl) Elliott of St. Clairsville, Ohio; sister, Lois Ritchey of Florida; grandchildren, Lyndsay and Lee Elliott, Todd Elliott and Melissa (Joe) Heiler; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Alayna, and Ava Heiler, Matthew and Landon Elliott. Friends may visit Wednesday 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Flushing United Methodist Church, 301 High Street, Flushing, Ohio. Pastor David K. Powell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
