Marjorie Lou Galownia, 81, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Wednesday March 15, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on November 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Bair Marconi. Marjorie was a retired employee of St. Joseph School, Krob's Dairy and a member of the Catholic Women's Club of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Deborah L. Clark. Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Stanley A. Galownia, sons: Stanley L. (Jennifer) Galownia of Bridgeport, Eric J. (Becky) Galownia of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; daughters: Laurie A. Galownia (Jim Johnson) of St. Clairsville, Jennifer J. (Dan) Cox of Wheeling, WV, a son-in-law Gary Clark of Martins Ferry, a brother Mark Marconi of Rayland, OH, a sister Lorna Marconi of Wheeling; grandchildren: Corey Clark, Jessica (Zach) Wallace, Derrick (Jessica) Heckathorn, Justin Heckathorn , Christian Gorza, Addison Galownia, Nathan Galownia, Morgan Cox, great-grandchildren: Payden, Alexavier, Lilianna, Calvin and Avery. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday March 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, with Rev. John Mucha as celebrant.
