Mark Allen Anderson, 64, of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his residence.  Mark was born on October 1, 1956, in Martins Ferry.  He was a son of the late Fay and Evelyn "Jean" (Wolfe) Anderson.

Mark worked in law enforcement beginning his service with the Belmont County Sheriff's Department. He later served the village of Belmont as Chief of Police and finished his career as an officer with The Columbus Regional Airport Authority at John Glenn International Airport.  He was also a lifelong member of the Brookside Volunteer Fire Department.

Mark was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends may call Sunday from 1-4 in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  A memorial service will be held at 4 pm in the funeral home with Reverend James Hoff officiating.
