Marlene C Timko, of Adena, Ohio passed away December 22, 2022, after a brief illness at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born October 9, 1936, in Piney Fork, Ohio, a daughter of the late Henry J and Elsie June Ciechomski.

Marlene was retired from Peoples National / Consumers Bank and a former employee of Hanna Coal/ Consol.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant, where she served as an Elder and loved singing in the choir.  She also served as treasurer for the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant for many years.  Marlene was a member of The Presbyterian Women USA, Reid Missionary, Rainbow Girls, and Eastern Star.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Matthew C Timko, daughter Tamara (Bob) Burlenski of Adena, OH, and son Timothy (Traci Hughes-Bartley) of Ashland, OH, sister Sherry (Phil) Sawchuk of Mt. Pleasant, OH; grandchildren, Monica (Christin) Mann, Mara (Dianne) Bowman-Kreptowski, Jacob and Alex Timko, and great-granddaughter Alyssa Arraujo.

Friends will be received Tuesday, December 27, from 3 pm until 8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St, Dillonvale, OH and Wednesday, December 28, from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am at First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant, 123 Union Street, Mt. Pleasant, OH, with Rev. Lorraine Dill officiating. Internment following at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant.
