Marlene J. (Gotshall) Longwell, 73, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Feb. 1, 1941 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Roy E. and Mary I. (Duck) Gotshall. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Longwell. Surviving are her sons; Donald R. (Wendy) Longwell, Jr. of Martins Ferry and Michael Longwell of Bellaire, OH, her daughter, Dawn Pavelkey of Yorkville, OH, sisters; Mary Ellen Conway of Martins Ferry and Patricia Chambers of Abilene TX, grandchildren; Crystal, Terry, Donald, III, Alana, Jonathan, Cheyanna and Jordan and great grandchildren; K'onna, Kenley, Jr. and Landyn. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Friday, July 25, 2014 from 4:00 pm until time of services at 7:30 pm with Rev. Larry W. Lewis officiating.
